hi, i have a blackberry curve 8900 and the operating system is 4.6.1.199
anyways my problem is almost the same as Vanny335's
when i downloaded bbm 5.0 i can't open bbm any more from the menu
the only way i can open it is by using the switch application feature
can you please help me relocate my bbm in the menu

Have you tried downloading it with WiFi on? Also when a prompt comes up saying if you want to replace this module with that one you have to say yes quickly. Delayed responses can cause the download to fail sometimes.

I am trying to install bbm 5 for my sister's curve 8900. I can't download bbm 5 from her device. It crashes half way thru the download. I tried everything different wireless networks. I am looking for the zip files so I can install bbm 5 using DM. The ones on the site are crossed out.
I really need help with this. I have been looking for days for the files can't seem to find it anywhere..

its a 4.6 i downloaded 5.0 desktop software and it updated the phone so now its back on, but im having problems updating my bb messenger from 4.6 to the latest one, how do i do that?

Hey I just downloaded the new verison of bbm and I added a contact picture for myself but it won't allow me to see anyone elses picture just the original pic it starts with. I asked some friends and they can see my pic but i can't see there pictures.

i have tried to use the download for my blackberry pearl 8130 and it doesnt work. i dont know if my device is OS 4.5.0.131. in fact i dont really have a clue what that means. i just know that i absolutely MUST have this. :)

You can't send photos in a small size as you could in the old version, this sucks, is there any way to use it in the same way as the older version regarding the pictures?
